macbook sleeve

i needed something to wrap my „äpfelchen“ in before i put it in the laptop thingy of my rucksack. the rucksack was not made for such a lovely small notebook, and the macbook was really wobbling around in there, so i sewed this very simple felt cozy/sleeve for my baby:

poison mobile cozy

wollmeise yarn is precious. so i try to use every single meter and centimeter of it. this is what i knit yesterday with the leftovers from my clapotis:

i just love wollmeise! whatever you knit from it, it looks and feels wonderful 🙂

geek hat

pattern: binary cable hat

yarn: belday monaco, grey, acrylic

idea: i love the idea of this pattern! the cables represent the numbers 0 to 15 in binary. how? a cable twist = 1, no cable twist = 0. so what you can see on the photo are numbers 1 to 7 (+ half of 8). how cool is that! perfect present from nerd to nerd!

purple rib scarf

i was thinking of a special scarf for some time… had a look at many shops but i didn’t find what i had in mind. but hey, i’m knitter, right?! so i just knit my dream scarf myself. 🙂

the idea: a long, wide, ribbed purple scarf with fringe!

so i got some yarn at ebay, 600g of austermann mombasa (100% cotton, 100m/50g)…

…and started with a very easy pattern. co 89 st, then k3, p3 aaaaaall the way until the scarf is about 2m long… which will take forever… but anyway 😉
