i knitted a sackboy for my colleague matthias. he’ll get him on his birthday on saturday. so „shhhhh“ until then 😉
i got the pattern from the simply knitting magazine (thanks to kevin that he gave it to me when he came to visit). the pattern is also available for free. it’s a great pattern and i really enjoyed knitting it! i just hate the making up – it takes forever!
wow, unbelievable! i managed to get among the craftster best of again. last year i did it with my stenciled „noir tshirt“, this year i was successful in the category bath & beauty with my „tiramisu soap“…

i gave my friend carina a skein of opal harry potter yarn for her birthday. she is a huge harry potter fan so it had to be harry & ron socks (that’s the colourway). and hey, it even was enough yarn for 2 pairs of socks!

i love, love, love this pattern. easy to knit, never boring and a lovely result. unfortunately they are really wide. maybe i should have used thinner yarn? anyway, i’m happy with the result and can’t wait to wear them.

yarn: wolle rödel, soft-merino, 100% merino
these mittens are a kind of secret santa gift for scott. i hope they fit and he likes them!

i knit these socks as christmas present for my dad. it’s not christmas yet, but as he never looks at this blog it’s quite safe to post them already anyway 😉

these socks were a real pain to knit! knitting socks for men is so boring! the don’t want any fancy patterns with cables or lace but have big feet. so you are stuck with a boring pattern for ages and ages!
kevin and me are showing off the binary cable hats i knit. matching hats like a strange old couple. except we are neither old nor a couple *lol*
did i mention that i love winding yarn? i guess i have 😉
