… so it definately needed a nerdy cozy. i wanted to try jaquard patterns with two/more colours anyway, so my mobile got this lovely new coat 😉

just bought this lovely sock yarn on ebay (fotos are property of fauveline – i’m just borrowing them until the yarn arrives and i can take my own photos 😉 )

i’ll try out these first and maybe order more then – they’ve got sock yarn in any colour you could wish for!

i started a pair of new socks after christmas. „krauses wellenspiel“ from „der geniale socken-workshop“

i’ve been knitting a lot over the last few days… what a christmasy cabeling madness 😉 where is carolin? oh, huddled up on the sofa with her knitting stuff *haha*

so i finished my first cable projects: fingerless mitts and a matching hat…

i already wore the fingerless mitts on the stuttgart christmas market. it was freeeeeezing cold and – put on over my gloves – they really saved my life 😉

the hat was just finished today, fits perfect and i can’t wait to wear it 🙂

Wohooooo, have a look at my first try with knitting cables. it’s going to be long cabled fingerless mittens… once they have grown up 😉

my mum will get these socks for her birthday 🙂 as you can see, they fit me as well. her feet are a little smaller but also broader. should fit fine…

this time i was a lot faster and my knitting was more steady… they also look more shiny and less linty. maybe also because i used better yarn this time – from lana grossa…

i knitted an easy triangle pattern. should be visible in the photos. with the next pair of socks i’ll try another pattern 🙂
