Ooh, lovely! I’d love to make my boyfriend some socks but I have NO IDEA how big to make them! I don’t see him very often and it wouldn’t be a surprise if I got him to try them as I made them 🙁 C’est la vie!
you should try the pattern i used! you just need to know his shoe size and then you can look up the exact number of stitches and descriptions is in the pattern. i’ve used this pattern for socks for my dad too and couldn’t let him try them on either. it works! 🙂
