i got the pattern from the simply knitting magazine (thanks to kevin that he gave it to me when he came to visit). the pattern is also available for free. it’s a great pattern and i really enjoyed knitting it! i just hate the making up – it takes forever!

i gave the little guy to his new owner today. he – and everybody at the birthday party – loved him đ and in his honour we had a little fiddle with little big planet on the „birthday boy’s“ ps3. aw, i could look at sackboy pulling faces all day. đ
Looks awesome. I’m doing the same project. How do you do the hands? I’ve never knitted before this. I’ve done all parts except for the arms and it looks right. But the arms!! I understand up to the beginning of the fingers. I’m pretty sure I have the thumb down correctly. The whole thumb is on one side right? The wording 3sts at beg of next 2 rows for thumb was confusing.
As far as the fingers go, I don’t understand what to do at the WORK FINGERS:LITTLE FINGER section.

Break yarn, leaving 40in length. Thread through sts on needle, draw up tightly, then oversew side edges of finger.
How do you turn? K7 and then switch needle hands and purl back? knit back? do you have to switch what side the yarn is on? Everything I try seems to be wrong.
